Located just minutes from exit 6W of the
Palisades Interstate Parkway and the Blue Hill Golf Course, Veterans
Memorial Park is easy to get to from anywhere in Rockland, Bergen, or
Westchester Counties.
Veterans Memorial Park is a 50+ acre park located in the Town of Orangetown. The
park includes 1 regulation Baseball field, 2 Softball/Little
League fields, a Children's park, Basketball courts, Tennis
Courts, and a 1/4 mile walking/jogging path. Fields are
available for use with a permit from the Town of Orangetown
Recreation Department.
From The East
Take Palisades Interstate Parkway to exit 6W. Merge onto Orangeburg Road
and travel to the second traffic light. Make left at light onto Blaisdell
Road. Make the first right onto Hunt Road. Veterans Memorial Park is on
your right. Follow Hunt Road past the baseball field to the main park
entrance.
From The West
Take Gilbert Avenue east (Pearl
River) which will become Veterans Memorial Drive. After passing the Blue
Hill Golf Course on your left, continue another 1/4 mile past reservoir
and make your first right onto Hunt Road. Make second left into
park.
